As International Key Account Manager, you represent Protime and develop, implement and manage the strategy to grow an existing business portfolio mainly in, but also outside, Europe. This is a challenging opportunity which requires you to develop a detailed understanding of every aspect of human resources related information systems in an international business context. You will report directly to the manager of the international business team.

What will you do?

We strive to give our customers the best customer experience and our International team plays a very important role in this! That is why we are looking for an International Key Account Manager who will focus on our existing customers.

How will you do this?

  • You are responsible for the management and further development of your own customer portfolio. From your commercial insight you will identify the growth opportunities of your customers.
  • Because of your enthusiasm and open communication, customers trust you. They can always count on you for questions or suggestions.
  • You will travel abroad approximately once per 1-2 months to customers on site. This is alternated with online demos, video calls, ... You also work closely with various internal departments (Consultancy, Marketing, etc.) in order to advise the best solution to the customer.
  • You will work once per 1-2 weeks from our headquarters in Mechelen (Belgium).
  • You can reach the right contacts at your customers and build a lasting relationship with them. You know how to open the right doors.
  • You determine sales objectives, and you establish the annual account plan in collaboration with the International Business Director.

For this challenging task we are looking for a proactive Sales Expert, curious, future and result-oriented and with excellent communication and intercultural skills.

  • Thanks to your commercial attitude and social character, you enjoy building relationships of trust with customers. Providing the best possible service is your priority.
  • You are a driven Key Account Manager and are taken into confidence by your customers as a sparring partner/sounding board, so you quickly pick up opportunities.
  • Experience in the B2B sales of SaaS solutions and/or the HR landscape is a plus.
  • You have a great sense of responsibility and are self-managing, organizational and proactive.
  • Communicating fluently is second nature to you. You are able to dialogue with both internal and external contacts.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English and Dutch. Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus, not a must.
  • You are willing to travel to customers abroad.

Acquaintance with HR

As a first step, you will meet with one of our in-house recruiters. They will see if there is a match with the Protime culture and explain you more about the vacancy and our way of working.

Interview with the Team Leader

Next, you get to know your future teamleader. Sometimes a colleague also joins the interview. Together they delve deeper into the job description and look at the match with the team.


Finally, you will take an assessment: a simulation exercise, tests around reasoning ability, analytical thinking, personality, etc.
